Utrecht, 5 November 2024 – Envalue welcomes Gerda Stelpstra as Partner and Head of Strategy Consulting within the management team. With her arrival, Envalue is adding the Strategy Consulting service line to its full-service offering. Gerda will focus on successfully translating organisational strategies into property strategies for property users, developers and investors. Her approach brings together in-depth knowledge of valuations, sustainability, transactions and design & build. By combining these different disciplines, Envalue helps management teams and property professionals to turn complex issues into concrete solutions.
Experience and vision
Gerda Stelpstra has a background in anthropology and over 10 years’ experience in strategic (property) consultancy, most recently as a Partner at Cushman & Wakefield. During her time there, she led innovative projects, such as the “Workplace Living Lab” in Utrecht. Here, she utilised innovative technology to gain insights into collective human behaviour within the built environment. She specialises in strategies that use property as a driver for social and organisational value, with the user at the centre.
Gerda’s approach combines human behaviour with spatial data analysis, helping developers, investors and property users to create sustainable and people-centred environments. These spaces not only foster engagement but also create long-term value. In addition, Gerda is a sought-after speaker at national and international events, where she shares her insights on the human dimension of property strategy.
Space and human behaviour as drivers of value creation
“With Gerda, we are strengthening our position as a forward-thinking property partner,” says Jan Verhaegh, CEO of Envalue. “Gerda brings sustainable portfolio and development strategies to life for leaders of organisations both within and outside the property sector.”
Gerda Stelpstra adds: “I look forward to developing solutions at Envalue that utilise property as a catalyst for organisational growth and strategic transitions. This aligns seamlessly with developments in the sector, where flexibility, sustainability and a holistic vision are becoming increasingly important. Our aim is to support decision-makers in effectively utilising real estate to achieve strategic goals and strengthen organisations.”
